Venus stations retrograde on July 25th, Uranus on the 26th. They join Saturn, Chiron, and Pluto who are all also retrograde. When planets turn retrograde, their influence works within the psyche more than out in the world.
Venus retrograde until September 6th asks us to reconsider our relationships, our financial situation, and whether we have enough beauty, harmony, and pleasure in our lives. If you find yourself questioning these areas of your life, you’re right in line with the stars--keep at it. Don’t rush coming to any conclusions. Now is the time to reevaluate, not to decide.
Uranus retrograde until December says, “are you free? If not, why not?” Uranus wants us to figure out who we really are. It wants to jolt us out of patterns set by habit, society, our parents, so we can fulfill our role on Earth. It wants us to boldly and courageously create the future, by being ourselves. Uranus wants revolution; Uranus retrograde suggests the revolution happens within.
Saturn’s transit through Scorpio (going direct August 1st) until mid September is likely to make our propensity to self-sabotage especially visible, and to show us our negativity, doubt, and self-defeating thoughts. Maybe not a whole lot of fun, but nevertheless, an opportunity to acknowledge our own shit, and all the damaging beliefs that we hold on to, so that finally, we can let them go. We have so much more control over our own happiness and peace of mind than we often realize.
Chiron retrograde until November 27th shows us the ways in which we are still wounded, how we have yet to heal. We may feel a little more vulnerable or raw than normal, we may be reminded of past pains. Harness your courage, stare those dragons down; doing so will itself be healing.
Neptune retrograde till November 18th turns our sensitivity, compassion, and spirituality within, supporting us in connecting to our higher selves and connecting to the whole by going inside.
Pluto retrograde until September 24th has us considering our relationship to power, and wants to spur transformation. Are you afraid of power? Do you recognize your own inherent power? Do you seek it for yourself at the expense of others? Or are you courageous enough to stand in your own power in order that we can all benefit from what you have to give, so we can use our collective power to consciously bring our future into being.
As each of us considers what we truly value (Venus), and works internally to release limiting beliefs and negativity (Saturn), we open up opportunity to more easily manifest our desires (Venus). As we acknowledge and work through our wounds (Chiron), we allow internal transformation to occur, and step into our power as creative, conscious, sovereign beings (Pluto). In this way, we approach freedom, envision and so create our futures (Uranus).
As we change within, so our world changes without. The revolution is already underway.
