May 2018 Horoscopes

May is relatively quiet astrologically speaking until the New Moon in Taurus mid-month. Unlike your typical mellow Taurus Moon, this one coincides with Uranus shifting out of Aries and into Taurus for the bulk of the next 8 years. Uranus represents revolution, innovation, instability, and nonlinear change. Its shift into Taurus brings these themes to bear collectively in the realms of finances, housing, sustenance, nature--and on a personally level, in whatever house of your natal chart Uranus is moving into. At the same time, Mars shifts into Aquarius and squares Uranus. Oh my! Mars is the warrior god, so when these two get together, we are bound to notice. Mars and Uranus will square each other twice more over the course of the year, so this month we are likely to see the first act of a story that plays out over the course of the next year, and the next 8 years. We are likely to experience a destabilization, possible sudden endings or beginnings, and a push toward individuality and freedom in some area of our lives.

Aries

Uranus shifts from your first house of identity and into your second house of possessions, income, material stability, and at heart, self-worth. This is also where this month’s New Moon occurs, so set your intentions in this area. Uranus wants us to break free from what binds us, urging us toward freedom. How can you be more free when it comes to your material security? Is it time to work toward self-employment or increased income? Is it time to simplify?  What you experience mid-May will foreshadow stories that will continue to play out over the course of this year, and the next eight years. Mars, your ruling planet, moves into your eleventh house of community and networks, offering you drive to take action in this area. Beware of feeling a little aggressive, or acting out of anger though. If someone in your wider circle seeks to antagonize, consider it an opportunity to master Mars’ fiery impulse. Sometimes anger is valid, but since your temper is liable to be inflamed this month, take a step back before acting, and act out of awareness rather than what the warrior god would have you do on instinct.

Taurus

Uranus shifts out of your twelfth house of the unconscious mind and into your first house of identity, personality, the body, your way of showing up in the world. This is also where the May New Moon occurs, so make your wishes. Uranus in the first house makes its influence much more personally relevant to you. Are you ready for a revolution in who you are? Are you ready to become more of you? How have you been holding back? How have you been playing it safe? How have you conformed to what is expected, or hidden your uniqueness?  Whatever instabilities and changes you experience his month will pave the way for a massive renovation in your identity and life over the next eight years. The hardest part may be letting go of comfort for the sake of evolution, but it will be well worth it. Mars in your tenth house brings extra fire and drive to your house of career. Use the energy for hard work and avoid letting it spill over into aggression.

Gemini

This month, Uranus shifts from your eleventh house of community, networks, and friendships, and into your twelfth house of the unconscious. Because Uranus is moving from a prominent house into a less active one, you are actually likely to feel Uranus less now. Its effects may be subtle, operating in the depths of your mind, perhaps at times piercing the boundary between the conscious and unconscious mind, to reveal hidden motives and fantasies, or symbolic messages from your soul. Pay attention to dreams and synchronicities. Tap into your “higher mind”--that part of yourself that is connected to the cosmos, from where insight and genius spring. Mars in your ninth house may auger travel or higher education, but on a deeper level is helping you to break free of beliefs that keep you bound.

Cancer

Uranus shifts into your eleventh house of community, networks, and friendships this month, bringing instabilities and changes to this area of your life. This is also the area of the Taurus New Moon, so set your sights on what you wish for in this area. Instability is not always a bad thing. Are there aspects of your wider circle of friends or perhaps the organizations you belong to that you’ve outgrown? How can you experience more freedom in this are of your life? How would it feel to be a part of a community that supports you for being who you are, that appreciates your unique gifts, that doesn’t hold you to some stale version of yourself? This is what Uranus wants to help you achieve. With Mars in the eighth house, you may experience some form of loss, which is rarely easy, but offers you an opportunity for inner transformation.

Leo

Uranus shifts into your tenth house of career/calling and public reputation, beginning an eight year journey toward greater freedom in this area of your life. This is also the area of this month’s Taurus New Moon, so plant your seeds of intention. Envision your ideal career, and what it might look like in eight years, and what you can accomplish toward that end in the next two weeks over the course of the current lunar cycle. Whatever happens this month, keep in mind that it’s only the first chapter. Something will be destabilized. So what has hardened that is no longer effective? With Mars in your seventh house of relationship, your partnerships are part of the story. Whether you begin or end a creative collaboration, or a close friend or partner is involved in your work life somehow, aim to use Mars’ fire to fuel passion and drive rather than aggression or anger.

Virgo

This month, Uranus moves into your ninth house of beliefs, travel, and education. This is also where the Taurus New Moon occurs. This is a wonderful time to plan or undertake a trip or a class, or perhaps a long-term course of education. Uranus offers you greater freedom in this area and over the course of the next eight years is likely to instigate a radical shift in your worldview and belief system. The more we hold onto how things were and how we were, the more difficult Uranus’ influence is. Allow Uranus to blow your mind open and you will experience true freedom. With Mars in your sixth house, you are offered extra drive at work, and Uranus’ genius can be brought to bear in your daily life.

Libra

This month, Uranus shifts into your eighth house which relates to loss, transformation, shared finances, and at heart, intimacy. With the Taurus New Moon in this area as well, you are beginning a journey of complete transformation. Who will you be eight years from now? Is it possible you could find freedom through intimacy? Sometimes being bound to another is restrictive, and sometimes it’s liberating. When two souls commit to fostering each other’s freedom, happiness, and evolution, then commitment is not bondage. It’s possible Uranus may bring about some endings, some losses, which is rarely easy, but it’s an opportunity to undergo a personal transformation, and become more of who you are. Mars is in your fifth house, upping your libido and activity level. Have fun, just be careful not to overdo it.

Scorpio

Uranus shifts into your seventh house of close personal relationships and partnerships, where it will operate for most of the next eight years, bringing instability for the sake of innovation and freedom. With the New Moon in Taurus in this area as well, consider how you wish to feel in relationship. Is there a more innovative approach to partnerships that may offer you more freedom and individuality, without sacrificing connection or intimacy? What patterns have hardened into habit, what rules do you follow merely out of convention? Mars, your ruling planet, shifts into your fourth house, bringing your drive to home and family. Is it time to renovate, or look at moving, or attend to family matters? By acting in these areas, you can channel Mars toward innovation and hard work rather than anger and aggression.

Sag

Uranus moves into your sixth house of health, work, and daily routine, where it will work for the next eight years to bring you more freedom. This month’s New Moon is in this area as well, which offers an opportunity to envision your ideal health and your ideal daily schedule. For a moment, forget what is required of you, forget your current commitments and responsibilities, and consider, what would your perfect day look like? This sort of visualization is one way to help Uranus in its workings. This a time also to pay extra attention to your health and your habits. If you’ve been putting off getting something checked out, now’s the time. Mars is in your third house, bringing siblings and communication to bear on your work and daily life. Use Mars for communicating clearly and assertively. If you feel anger arise, take a step back, and act out of awareness, rather than according to warrior god’s momentary impulse.

Cap

Uranus shifts into your fifth house of recreation, children, and creativity, where it will operate over the next eight years to bring about more freedom. The Taurus New Moon lands in this area of your chart as well, offering a preview of the story that will unfold over the next years. Perhaps your children are growing up and moving out, or perhaps you undertake a new sport, hobby, or creative project. Whatever the precise manifestation, the goal is to allow you to more fully and authentically express yourself. With Mars in your second house of possessions and income, perhaps you are working to turn your hobby into a source of income. Channel Mars’ fire toward getting lots done in this area, and use its connection to Uranus to inspire innovative sources of income.

Aquarius

This month, Uranus moves into your fourth house of home, family, early childhood, and your relationship with your mother or primary caregiver. Pay attention to events that occur mid-month, as they will foreshadow stories that will play out over the rest of the year and into the next eight years. Keep in mind that Uranus’ goal is to bring freedom. Perhaps you will move, or find a creative living situation, perhaps you will come to a deeper understanding of your early childhood and how it’s shaped you, or maybe you will be able to release and forgive members of your family who wronged you. Mars in your first house offers you a little extra fire and drive, just beware of it spilling into aggression or anger--not that there is anything wrong with anger in the right context, but it may not be wise to let the warrior god determine your actions, especially when it is inflamed and perhaps even antagonized by its connection to Uranus. Channel Mars-Uranus toward innovation, creativity, and spontaneity.

Pisces

Uranus shifts into your third house of siblings, your mind, and communication, where it will be working for most of the next eight years to bring about more freedom and individuality in these areas of your life. The Taurus New Moon lands in this part of your chart as well, so set your monthly intentions in these areas. If you have siblings, it’s possible your relationships with them will undergo some big shifts which allow you to be more yourself in their presence. Consider the way you communicate, how you speak, write, how you engage with social media. How can you you bring more of yourself to bear in your communications? Forget the “rules”; now is the time to do things differently. The same goes for your mind and thought processes. Notice if you have patterns of thought that keep you bound to some stale version of yourself. Notice if you have thoughts that keep you from being free. Meditation will help you to see your thoughts with detachment and to have space (freedom) in your mind and therefore, your life.

April 2018

The potent Full Moon in Libra on March 31st carries us into April. With the polarity between self (Aries) and other (Libra) activated, keep in mind that we are who we are only relation to others (I am me because you are you). A T-Square from the Full Moon to Mars and Saturn suggests that a disciplined and long-term approach to public role and responsibilities could help ease tension. There is a New Moon in Aries on April 15th, conjunct with Uranus. Mercury stations direct at the same time. This is a powerful and radical new beginning, a time for innovation and originality. (You may wish to wait a few days until Mercury gains some speed to set any intentions, or initiate action.) Finally on April 29th, we have a Full Moon in Scorpio, highlighting embodiment, sensuality, and sexuality.

Aries

Happy birthday Aries! The month before your birthday, as the sun transits the twelfth house, is a time to go deeply within, to reflect and release the past year. This can be a trying time as repressed and stagnant energies are freed from your depths, and rise up to consciousness for release. By the time your birthday rolls around you are likely to feel a surge of energy and upliftment to carry you into your new year. The Full Moon at the end of March may create tension and opportunity for creative reconciliation between yourself, your partnerships, and your work or vocation. Seek resolution by taking a long-term, disciplined approach to your career. Begin with the vision; set your intentions and take action after the Aries New Moon in mid-April.

Taurus

The Full Moon at the end of March may create some tension between your desire for spiritual experience and your mundane, everyday life. Seek resolution through your perception. How can you integrate spirituality into your daily life? Seek an understanding of the situation that is bigger than contradiction, that makes room for all possibilities, and all parts of you. A long-term approach to your personal philosophy, education, new-experiences, and travel can also aid in resolving this tension. Much of the activity in April occurs in your twelfth house, your unconscious mind. This astrology works to churn your depths, to bring what has been repressed and stagnant to the surface; so you can become more aware, so you can process, so you can release. While sometimes trying, this process leads to healing and greater comfort with yourself.

Gemini

The Full Moon at the end of March may see some tension between your community, your desires, and your most intimate ties. Seek resolution through intimacy, first with yourself, then with others. Resolution lies also in understanding that larger forces are at work; you are undergoing an initiation of sorts; the universe has its own divine order that we don’t always understand. Make a commitment to your own self-discovery. Use of the occult, (astrology, tarot, magic) could be very effective. With the Sun transiting your eleventh house, there is a focus this month on your community, networks, friendships, and the groups you belong to. Set intentions and begin anew in this area after the Aries New Moon mid-month.

Cancer

The Full Moon at the end of March may indicate some tension between family, work, and partnerships. The solution lies in your relation to partnership: seek to honour your own needs, while also taking into account the needs and perspectives of those with whom you are in relationship. Are you afraid of intimacy? Intimacy requires we let go of ourselves, it IS scary, but incredibly rewarding. It requires patience and working through problems within relationship. With the Sun transiting your tenth house, the focus in April is on your career (or calling). If this area of your life has been stalled, begin with the vision. Plan to move forward after the mid-April New Moon which brings more energy and forward movement to your career house.

Leo

The Full Moon at the end of March may indicate some tension between your perceptions & beliefs (your particular way of parsing experience and understanding the world), and your daily life (work, tasks, routines, health). Make the most of this energy by focusing on a particular goal or task, a long-term project, something you can commit to and see through to the end. Take a long-term, disciplined approach to your health. How can you shift your perspective or attitude so as to relieve the tension, guilt, anxiety, or fear you feel? The second half of April brings more and more focus to your personal philosophy and beliefs. There is an opportunity for a radical departure--a sudden release of beliefs that have kept you bound.

Virgo

With a Saturn-Mars conjunction in your fifth house, you may feel blocked in your creative expression or in your sense of enjoyment. The key to resolving this blockage is to focus on a particular task or project, something longterm that you can commit yourself too. The irony is, it’s this kind of focus and dedication that will bring you more joy and a sense of play. There’s a need as well at this time to define boundaries--to carve out space for yourself, and space for intimacy; to clarify what to keep for yourself, and what to share. There is a significant focus throughout April on intimacy. Set your intentions after the Aries New Moon mid-month. Intimacy requires we release control and enter into the abyss. That can be scary! But the rewards are rich.

Libra

The Full Moon in your sign at the end of March may indicate some tension between yourself, your partnerships, and your family or home life. Long-term, patient commitment to family/home life will release the tension. Seek the balance between your own needs and the needs of those you are close with. Don’t neglect yourself for the sake of others. The Aries New Moon mid-month brings the focus squarely to partnerships. Set your intentions, clarify the attitude with which you approach your closest relationships, clarify your vision of what you desire, how you wish to relate. With Uranus conjunct the New Moon, a radical or original approach is in order.

Scorpio

The Mars-Saturn conjunction in early April may indicate a blockage to communication, or a troubled mind. Take a focused, disciplined, and long-term approach to your own mind and communication. You may wish to commit to meditation or another practice that disciplines the mind, or commit to learning to refine your communication skills. The Aries New Moon mid-month offers you a new beginning and a newfound forward momentum with regards to work and daily routine. With Uranus conjunct the New Moon, take an innovate, original approach to your schedule and work-life, and ensure there is room for spontaneity.

Sag

Early April’s Mars-Saturn conjunction in your second house may indicate a blockage in your income or sense of self-worth. Your ability to provide for yourself may be in tension with your community and your creativity. Seek a disciplined, long term approach to your income. Seek to uncover the psychology underneath; do you feel you deserve to experience abundance? Begin with clarity and intention; take action in the second half of the month, after Mercury is moving forward again. Mid-April’s Aries New Moon brings new beginnings and forward momentum to your creative projects, your self-expression, romance, play, and pleasure. With Uranus conjunct the New Moon, harness spontaneity and originality.

Capricorn

The Full Moon at the end of March may bring some tension between your family/home-life, your career, and your own personal needs. Seek resolution through embodying discipline and focus. Delayed gratification at this time is in order. The predominant focus in April is in your fourth house of family and home-life. Give some extra attention to this part of your life, and come the New Moon mid-month, set intentions and prepare for new beginnings in this area. What do you desire to manifest? What is your long-term vision of home and family? With Uranus conjunct the New Moon, radical and original approaches are most likely to succeed.

Aquarius

The Full Moon at the end of March activates all aspects of your mind: your unconscious, your thought processes, your intuition, your beliefs, and worldview are all in conversation. There is some tension, some contradiction within the structures of your mind. Seek to shift your beliefs, or find a higher perspective in which what appears to be in contradiction is integrated. With the Sun and Mercury transiting your third house this month, this is a time to clarify your means of communication. How can you be clear and direct and also kind and compassionate? The New Moon mid-month offers you a new beginning in this area.

Pisces

The central focus for you in April is on income, resources, self-sufficiency; and underlying all of these: self-worth. Notice the subtle ways in which you undermine your own value through your beliefs, thoughts, and actions. Come the Aries New-Moon mid-month, set your intentions in this area. WIth Uranus conjunct the New Moon, an innovative, original approach is most likely to succeed. One way to increase resources is to reduce expenses rather than to increase income. But any number of creative means of sustaining oneself exist, and they always begin with how we perceive ourself and treat ourself.

March 2018

Aries

The fruits of your labour ripen early in the month with a Full Moon and grand trine activating your career and money houses. What do you come to understand about the way you work, how you serve, your daily routine, your health and diet? With five planets in your twelfth house, March sees a serious uprooting of your unconscious. Often, parts of ourselves get relegated to the unconscious because we are ashamed or afraid of them. But you are now ready to integrate more of who you really are into your conscious understanding of yourself. The work you have to do now is to release the shame and fear that have been instilled by a culture that seeks to have us be less than who we are. By mid-month, the energy shifts predominantly into your sign, so prepare for an influx of energy and attention.

Taurus

The Full Moon at the beginning of the month in your fifth house delivers a healthy dose of play, pleasure, romance, and creativity. Are you sharing or completing a creative project? Or perhaps you’re coming to a deeper understand of the role that pleasure and creativity play in your life. There is also a potent opportunity for sexual healing at this time--be it healing wounds around sexuality or healing through sexuality itself. With five planets in your eleventh house, the first half of March brings much energy to your social life and dreams for the future. Get out there and make new connections, have fun, and dream big. By mid-month, the focus shifts to your unconscious mind, and the planets are really stirring things up there, all with the intention of helping you see yourself more clearly.

Gemini

The Virgo Full Moon at the beginning of March lights up your house of home and family, bringing some story to completion or culmination (perhaps you move, finish a home project, or visit with family), and bringing more awareness to your unconscious mind. Pay attention to those quiet thoughts that so easily slip by, and you may catch a glimpse of how the dynamics within your family have shaped your psychology. Feel into your roots in order to heal and grow taller. With five planets in your tenth house, this month supports you in growing into your career and/or your passion, helping you to release self-doubt and do more of what you love. What do you wish to accomplish? How do you wish to contribute? Set your intentions following the New Moon on the 17th.

Cancer

With the Full Moon in your third house in early March, you may catch a glimpse of the inner workings of your mind. There is an opportunity to see how your worldview--your background assumptions and vision of the world--shapes your everyday thought processes, and how these in turn shape your experience. The funny thing about the mind--even if it’s always on the go, and right there within us, so often we don’t even notice it. Yet, awareness works magic--just through becoming aware of what had been unconscious, patterns begin to alter, change becomes possible. So pay attention to your thoughts. And then use all the Pisces energy to imagine and instill a worldview that nourishes you, rather than accepting the world you’ve inherited through family and culture. The second half of the month, the energy shifts to your house of career. Time to get to work!

Leo

The Full Moon at the beginning of March may reveal to you something about the ways in which you do or do not value yourself and your resources. This is an opportunity to foster a greater sense of self-worth and invite greater abundance. With five planets in your eighth house, the key word for you this month is Intimacy, whether in the form of sexuality, financial arrangements, energetic exchanges, or diving deep into your own soul. You’re learning how to be true to your own boundaries, which allows you to safely get close to others. How are you sharing your space, resources, sexuality, money, energy with others? Harness the Piscean vibes to dream big and create the sorts of intimate bonds you most desire.

Virgo

Early March’s Full Moon in your sign offers you a burst of energy and puts you in the spotlight. This signals a major completion or culmination, the beginning and ending of a chapter. Something about yourself is being revealed, or perhaps you are completing a project or sharing something publicly. Are you sharing yourself with others in a deeper more authentic way? The world needs you, Virgo. Don’t ever think you are insignificant. With five planets in your relationship house this month, you have much time and love for your people, and opportunities for fated encounters abound. Harness Pisces’ gift for dreaming to imagine into being the relationships you desire.

Libra

In early March, a grand Earth trine unites the parts of your chart relating to the mind. The March 1st Full Moon in your twelfth house, makes the unconscious conscious. You are making progress when it comes to understanding yourself more deeply. You have courageously ventured into the depths to face what has been lurking in the shadows, and you now reap rewards of your efforts. Even with this activation of the depths of your mind, there is much focus this month on your day-to-day life, routine, health, diet, and you are likely to find yourself busy. The question is how can you bring what you’ve learned about yourself and your soul into harmony with everyday life?

Scorpio

Your social life is coalescing. You’ve spent time with your friends and loved ones and have worked hard to create community. This month, you’re feeling the rewards of your efforts, with a grand earth trine uniting your social houses. The Full Moon on March 1st lights up your house of social networks, friendship, and organizations, bringing fruition and culmination, but also revealing something: what do you glimpse now under the light of the full moon? What do you understand now about your friendships and networks and how they relate your personal and subjective way of being? The true potency this month lies in your creativity, with five planets in your fifth house. Take the time to be creative and to play and have fun. The New Moon on the 17th offers a new beginning when it comes to a creative project, sport, or more generally, in your authenticity.

Sagittarius

With a grand Earth trine activating your money and work houses, and Saturn in your house of money and resources, it’s clear you’ve been working to get your finances in order even if you have complex feelings around money. Your consciousness is expansive enough to contain paradox. Attending to your resources sends a clear message to the universe that you respect money as a symbol of energy, and the universe will respond by sending more your way. Your new found organization around finances feeds into your career success. With a Full Moon in your career house, you receive recognition, the fruits of your labour ripen, and you are offered a glimpse of something new. WIth five planets in your fourth house, the relation between your career and your home life is clarified. And if you don’t feel like leaving home, don’t--as much as possible anyway. Take the time now to retreat, rest, and dream.

Capricorn

The predominant focus this month is in your mind, with a lineup of planets in your third house, and a full moon in your ninth house. Perhaps you are paying more attention to how your assumptions and beliefs affect your experience. Perhaps you are seeing more clearly your patterns of thought. The first half of March is a wonderful time for writing or reading poetry, making or listening to music, enjoying fantasy and the imagination. You are likely to be more creative than ever now, especially when it comes to communicating creatively. By mid-month the focus shifts to your home and family, and the aspects of your psychology that were shaped by your family dynamics.

Aquarius

With five planets in your house of income, resources, and self-worth, this is an area of significant focus for you. Your best tactic is to harness Pisces’ knack for dreaming and going with the flow to manifest abundance through the path of least resistance. Release the thoughts that tell you you are not enough, know that you are infinitely worthy. Early March’s Full Moon shines a light in your eighth house, revealing secrets around intimacy: how do you share, what do you share, where are your boundaries, what are your needs? Is there reciprocity and flow when it comes to your resources, including time, energy, material resources, and space, as well as money? If not with each person with whom you exchange, then with the universe itself? Aim for a balance of receiving and giving, acceptance and release.

Pisces

You are in the spotlight, Pisces, with 5 planets and an asteroid all in your sign for the first half of March. Bask in the light, and share it with those you love. Take full advantage of these Piscean vibes to do less, go with the flow, sleep, dream, imagine, bathe. Do you full tilt (or no tilt at all as the case may be). The Full Moon on March 1st brings culmination, fruition, and awareness to your relationships. Where is the balance between self and other? Do you speak to your own needs as well as attending the needs of those you love? Mid-month, the energy begins to shift into your second house, take this time to bolster your self-worth and consider your finances and resources.

February 2018

Aries

Aries, at heart you are the embodiment of courage. And one of the most courageous acts is to see ourselves clearly; to own up to the ways in which we are less than perfect, and also to acknowledge our hidden gifts. You have every right to pleasure, but is it possible that the way in which you’ve been satisfying your desires is more ego-laden than you’d thought? The difficult talk is to discern healthy from unhealthy indulgence without getting caught up in guilt and judgement. Have the courage also to see your own creative genius. And then get to work expressing your one-of-a-kind soul in the most passionate, beautiful, and creative way that you can.

Taurus

The ego is shaped in early childhood, in response to our primary caregiver and the household we were born into. The ego forms as a way to protect us, as an adaptation to survive the sometimes chaotic, sometimes unkind world. And now in adulthood, some of those reactionary mechanisms that were so necessary to our survival can interfere with our happiness, our ability to share our gifts and Work with world, and to live peacefully with housemates, partners, and family. There is some truth about yourself that is asking to be revealed. When you glimpse it, be kind to yourself--you were doing what you needed to do to survive. But now it’s time to grow out of reaction and into response.

Gemini

Many spiritual traditions teach that we are not our thoughts. We are not even the thinker of our thoughts--rather, we are the infinite, ineffable consciousness--so much bigger, so much more magical than the mind, thought, language. Thought is useful--when we don’t identify with it. Take a step back. Observe your thoughts. Get to know your own mind by watching it. Learn how to keep from getting drawn into the cycling of thought. Stay in your body, stay in your soul, stay in your heart. The more you practice this, the more you will learn to discern which thoughts stem from ego, and which ones grow from love.

Cancer

You need security, stability, a solid foundation. You need to know you are safe. You need to trust those close to you with your deep, inner emotions. But true and lasting security is a spiritual act, not a material one. No matter how much money we make, or whether we own our own home, or whether we have insurance coverage, or how many prize possessions we own--we’ll never feel completely comforted. Put your trust in the universe and you will be taken care of. Believe in abundance that can manifest in a multitude of creative ways, and discover the joy of a truly rich life.

Leo

You have truly magical gifts to offer the world. You are deeply creative, you are a performer, a joker, a king, a queen. You are here to shine your light, to bring more joy and laughter to the world. Leo energy is a big responsibility. The attention a Leo draws can easily corrupt the soul. Know that your creativity is not yours; it’s the energy of the universe flowing through you. Know that your charisma belongs to the Sun. Accept praise and criticism with grace, knowing that it’s not really about you anyway.

Virgo

Is some difficult to discern truth welling up from the depths of your unconscious? What have your dreams been telling you? Tune in to the symbolic layer of reality. Nothing is truly mundane; there is spiritual significance to everything, archetypal resonance to the most banal affairs. To gain self-knowledge, and self-mastery requires venturing into the dark depths of the psyche. The secret to staying safe in the darkness, is to keep the flame in your heart alive, to stay in love. Then whatever dragons you meet down there will reveal to you your riches.

Libra

Your social life is important to you. You want so badly for everyone to get along. And perhaps you want to keep the peace to such an extent that sometimes you’re not entirely honest. You may not lie, outright. But withholding information, smoothing things over, hiding your true feelings--these are all forms of dishonesty. I know you mean well. You don’t want your loved ones to worry about you when you’re down. You don’t want to hurt people by telling them you’re angry, hurt, jealous, sad. But keeping the peace on the surface only causes more turmoil in the long run. Come clean, say it like it is, be direct even if it ruffles some feathers. You’ll find deeper peace in the long run.

Scorpio

If you could only get out of your head, Scorpio, your career would soar. Keep your ego out of it. Your success has nothing to do with you. You are meant to serve the greater good from a place of love and detachment. All your strategizing and analyzing will only take you so far. At the end of the day, it’s love, creativity, and joy that will take you to new heights. And wow do you have at your disposal immense depths of love and passion to bring to bear to the Work you have to share. Envision how you wish to serve the collective, ask to be of service, and release attachment to the outcome. When you stop caring who shows up, who listens, who follows you, or likes you--that’s when you’ll really come into your own.

Sag

You’ve journeyed far and wide to come to your particular view of the world. You’ve worked harder than most to question everything, to release assumptions, to overcome conditioning, to build your philosophy from the ground up. You know what is true for you. And that is beautiful. But don’t stop there. Don’t let your structure harden. Keep at it. Keep questioning, keep revising your foundation, keep wondering, learning, and growing. Beware of thinking you have it all figured out, or that you know the truth. Those are thoughts that would have us grow old. The beautiful thing about this journey you’re on is that there is no end to it.

Capricorn

You have many responsibilities. You accomplish much. But if you don’t take the time to soften into intimacy, what is it all for? Boundaries are necessary, but have they become too restrictive? It takes great courage to open the heart, to let others in, to let yourself in. Start by finding intimacy with yourself; look into your soul, hear your truth, acknowledge how you really feel, access your vulnerability. And then, if you so desire, let other people in as well. Release those ego parts of you keeping you from connection.

Aquarius

Every soul is unique--but you; especially so. You have little patience for conformity or the status quo. And what a beautiful thing that is. You model for others how they too might be more themselves. But there is risk in being a nonconformist: what happens when what you believe is what others believe? When what you like is what others like? What happens in those instances when you find that you are actually NOT so different? Are you able then to be true to yourself by following the crowd? By not standing out? By accepting the status quo? The irony is that to be a true rebel means sometimes not rebelling at all.

Pisces

Sometimes, the most spiritual acts are the most mundane. Spiritual wholeness means taking care of business, going to work, running errands, paying the bills, going to the gym, visiting the doctor, living daily life--while maintaining an eye for the symbolic, staying present in the body, acting from love, practicing equanimity. Daily life can be one of the most profound spiritual practices. You have a knack, Pisces, for staying in the heart, for understanding that we are all ultimately one. Now work to integrate that knowing into ordinary life.
