The Pisces Full Moon is exact on Sunday August 26th at 4:46am PST at 3 degrees of Pisces. With no hard aspects to the Sun or Moon, this is one of the gentlest lunations we’ve had in a while. (Has it been an intense summer, or what?) Pisces represents our personal connection to spirituality, whatever that is. It is creative and intuitive, and helps us to get out of our egos to experience something beyond ourselves.
With the Sun in Virgo, we maintain our feet on the ground, and there is an attention to detail and discerning awareness that when integrated with Pisces offers astute presence. All the Earth signs are brought into the mix, as the Sun trines Saturn in Capricorn and Uranus in Taurus, forming a Grand Earth trine. After a summer of heat and intensity, this Full Moon brings reprieve with its cooling, grounding, Earthiness.
There is little air in the Full Moon chart, with most planets in Earth and Water signs. These next few days are not ideal for communication, but are best used for rest, meditation, and creativity. Stop. Relax your belly, soften your face. Do less. That said, with the Sun now in Virgo, many of us will feel a natural impetus toward cleaning and organizing, and it may even feel restful and restorative.
This Full Moon is about feelings, not about information. In that spirit, I will keep this post short, so you can get back to what matters: your experience.
I do have a few events coming up, including a Fall Equinox celebration and workshop: check 'em out here.
